Trainees have to upload a written confirmation letter during the online registration process signed by the head of department, confirming their status as such. Students have to upload a copy of their valid student picture ID during the online registration process. The age limit for a student is set at 30 years. Based on current legislation in Austria, ABC 2018 c/o VMA does not charge VAT for its services (free of VAT according to §2/Abs.5/Zi.2/UStG).

Booking and cancellation conditions
Payment of Registration fees may be made in EURO (no VAT) by bank transfer to the congress account or online with credit card.
Payments should be made without charges to the beneficiary. Any bank charges will be collected on site. Clearly state the participant’s name(s), matching with the name(s) on the registration form.
Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard
The reduced registration fee is only applicable, if it has been paid to the congress account within the according deadlines. Registering without performing an actual payment will automatically set your balance to the fee applicable onsite.
Confirmation of Registration
You will receive written confirmation of registration by e-mail when the registration form has been received and the payment has been credited to the congress account. Kindly note that payments made within 1 week prior to the congress cannot be confirmed in writing. If you made a bank transfer within this period, it will be essential to bring a proof of payment of your registration fee, when collecting the registration material.
A handling fee of EUR 50.– will be charged for every name change to an existing conference registration. A new registration form for the substitute delegate should NOT be submitted. Name changes will be accepted by email indicating the old and new names including the required contact details until November 2, 2018. After this date, all name changes must be carried out on-site and paid directly.
Cancellations and refunds
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing by email or fax to the congress office. Registration fees may be refunded as follows:
Written cancellation received:
- before September 30, 2018: 75% refund
- between October 1 and November 1, 2018: 25% refund
- after November 2, 2018: no refund
The date of receipt of the email or fax ID will be the basis for considering refunds. Please state your bank details (IBAN, BIC) on your written cancellation. Refunds will be made after the congress.
